North Creek Apartments

North Creek Apartments was a multi-building garden style project for Avalon, completed in 2019 with 316 units. This was the first garden style project Edison worked on with Avalon after doing many podium style projects with them.

The biggest challenge in garden-style projects is always working with local jurisdictions and ensuring that ADA requirements are met. This is something that Edison has had a lot of experience with in the past.

Even with the challenges of tackling a new style of build, Edison’s experience in garden style projects allowed the team to move forward steadily. We were able to navigate changes, ensure local jurisdiction standards were met and safety measures were followed.

Our first priority is always to ensure the safety of our workers while keeping projects progressing at the rates needed to stay on schedule. Even with huge amounts of coordination needed through the Joint Utility Trench, the teams were able to work together to make sure clearances, separation, and crossing standards were followed.
